3D Velocity Modelling

We are members of the Gocad Consortium, and develop GOCAD(r) functionality (e.g., wizards) for data integration and analysis.

We build 3D velocity models using GOCAD(r) advanced kriging techniques, and integrating borehole, seismic, and geologic constraints.

Using 3D velocity Models, like the one shown above, subtle geologic features, like basinfloor fan deposits, can be resolved (i.e. velocity model of the LA basin). The small white box in the upper figure corresponds to the location of the figure below
