I am a Ph.D. student in the Structural Geology and Earth Resources research group at Harvard University. My PhD research focuses on the structural characterization of active fault systems and regional velocity structure in southern California. I am investigating the structural characteristics (geometry, kinematics, structural evolution, segmentation, and regional tectonic context) of the Palos Verdes fault, offshore southern California, using a dense data set of high quality industry seismic reflection data and incorporating various structural restoration techniques, as well as developing a high-resolution 3D velocity model of the Ventura Basin for use in earthquake ground motion simulations.

For more information about me and my research and teaching interests, please click HERE to go to my web site.

Prior to coming to Harvard, I received an M.S. from Stanford University (1999), then spent four years as a geologist at William Lettis & Associates, Inc., an earthquake hazards and engineering geology consulting firm in northern California.
